My first name is pronounced "Sheen-ee". I recently completed my Master's degree in Computer Science at Georgia Tech. Prior to that, I earned my Bachelor's degree from Zhejiang University.
I'm interested in distributed systems, backend engineering, full-stack development, and machine learning, with experience spanning industry internships and personal projects across all these areas. I'm also vibe coding some side projects lately.

Texas Hold'em Poker Game
A real-time multiplayer Texas Hold'em poker game built for the web. Players can connect and compete over the internet, with synchronized gameplay, betting rounds, and hand evaluation. Developed with Codex-assisted development, the project explores AI-driven software engineering while focusing on networking, game logic, and user experience.
Cloud Storage Platform
Secure cloud storage with JWT auth, bcrypt passwords, Redis session management, and PostgreSQL metadata. Supports upload, download, deletion, and file sharing via access-controlled links.
Computer Graphics
Rhythm Dash
A single-player rhythm-based racing game. Players navigate a 3D racetrack and compete against AI-controlled opponents, aiming to reach the finish line in the shortest time possible. The project combines racing mechanics, rhythm-driven gameplay, and AI behavior to create a fast-paced and engaging racing experience.
Procedural Content Generation
Generates diverse plants using randomization from a user-defined seed — unique curved trunks, varied branching patterns, different colors, and both upward and outward growth.
Data Visualization
Cyberattack Storytelling
Interactive scroll-through story of cyber threats from 2015–2024. Visualizes attack frequency, sector cost impacts, and defense efficacy — surfacing threat evolution patterns across enterprise environments.
Mental Health Storytelling
Interactive Tableau visualizations analyzing global mental health data — prevalence rates, treatment gaps, and regional insights with a focus on the US.
